Show IN POLiCE COURT James Ward, the colored man, charged with lewd and lascivious conduct, con-duct, who pleaded not guilty to the charge in police court yesterday morning, morn-ing, was given a sentence of ten days in prison by Judge J. D. Murphy this morning when his hearing was continued. con-tinued. Emeal Bartell, arrested on a charge of vagrancy, was sentenced to serve ninety days in the city prison but, on advice of the chief of police, the sentence sen-tence was suspended and llartell given giv-en an opportunity to leae the city Nina Bond, charged with agrancy, forfeited a bond of $100 by not appearing appear-ing for tiial. Bonds of $3 eacli were allowed to fall into the city coffers by Howard Hull, who allowed his horse o stand unhitched on Twenty-fifth street, and J. I). Dean, who committed s similar offense on Washington avenue. |
