"GenUemen: From tho best information infor-mation I ran receive I believe the asphalt paving placed o South Washington Wash-ington avenue last year by P. J. West Ogden Water Mains. "Gentlemen: I hand herewith a copy of tho agreement submitted by the Joint railroad companies relating to the extension of Uio Ogden water , mains to West Ogden. i "Personally I do nor believe that any contract Is necessary, but in vie of the fact that the railroad company prefers to grant the city tbn right of way to run around its new freight depot de-pot Instead of crossing underneath tho freisht depot on Twenty fourth street, it becomes necessary to have a right of way for our water mains, and if the city council is willing to run tho water main around tbe freight dejoi instead of underneath it then som agreement, as tho one here proposed, is necessary, but I would ask that th agreement be amended and. section C bo added to tho contract to read specifically as follows, to-wit: "Section C Nothing in this agreement agree-ment is to be construed to mean that the city of Ogilen has waived lis rights to enter in ani on Twenty-fomt'i street west of Wall avenue.to constr ict waterworks or other city utilities when doomed necessary by tho c'ty of ! Ogden." ! The City Patrolmen.
