Show BABY. DROWNED IN BENCH CANAL Little Son of W. R. Wheelwright is Lost Sight of For Only Five Minutes When Lifeless Body is Discovered in Irrigation Ditch, Little Paul Dickson Wheelwright, I 22-months old son of W. R Wheel- w right, was drowned this morning some time between 0:43 and 10 o'clock, in the rear of the Wheelwright Wheel-wright home, 253S Quincy avenue. It seems that the little fellow eluded the watenful eyes of his mother moth-er for a few minutes and going to the rear of the house, crowled under the fence and in some way, got into I the irrigation ditch of the Ogden Bonch Canal company, which flows in the rear of the place. The child was ont absent from the house over live minutes when his missed him and, upon searching, found him under the bridge which crosses the canal at the alley. The baby was carried into the house and Drs. Edward I. Rich, Gordon Gor-don and Frleday were hastily summoned. sum-moned. Tho doctors worked over the, litle fellow for fully half an hour but all medical skill could do was of no avail. The parents are overwhemed with grief. The funeral will be held at 4 p. m. Tuesday, at the family residence, Bishop II. C. Jacobs presiding. f association. Francis Conroy left yesterday for Newark, California, where he ,'wJll spend the summer with his aunt, Mrs. Broughton. Mrs. G. W.
