When swear Ing Is a habit, followed in good humor, hu-mor, it does not fall In the category of the Immoral and cannot be scheduled sched-uled as such an Indignity as to entitle en-title the wife to a divorce, according to an opinion rendered In the circuit court here yesterday by Judge T. A, Jones, In granting a divorce to Samuel Sam-uel McGee. a Kansas City policeman. Judge Jones severely reprimanded Mrs. McGee, saving that she had so conducted herself that the big policeman police-man was nothing but a "mere cipher"' 1 Iti his own home "It Is shown that Mrs. McGee- is frugal and Industrious," said the Judge, "but.that is not the gamut of a wife's virtues. The law vests the husband with special authority oe-his oe-his household. The wife promises obedience obe-dience to it when she marries. Mrs. McGee has not submitted to thnt authority." |
