J., Sept. 20 Twa hundred Mont Clair school child.en will study and recite their lessons this winter in an open air school on the coldest and windiest bill top In the vicinity of the citv. Protected from the zero weather by roomy "sitting "sit-ting bags," modeled aficr the sleeping sleep-ing bags of the Arctic, they will sit at their desks under a largo, tent, the sides of which vVill be open wide to every breeze that blows. Special dros.will be provided freo for the children. They will wear woolen sweaters and woolen caps which may be pulled down on their ears vvheti cold. Rlocks of healed soapstone will be put In the botto:n of the bags to keep the children's feet warm. Jn the morning the pupils will receive hot milk and crackers. |
