Show .AT JESSE sl "HIS LAST DOLLAR." David Hlgglns and company were gieeted by a small audience at tho Ogden iheater last night. There was some enthusiasm shown throughout the production, but not what would have been shown had the supporting company been stronger. The piece Is a good one It has a fcood plot and pleasant line and should have been handled by a better bet-ter cast, lllgglns, in the role of Joe n.-Axton, the jockey who twice became be-came a millionaire' wan good and Is no doubt a cleer actor, but he did not appear to take much Interest In hi sportrayal laRt night, no doubt owing ow-ing to the small size of tho house. Still thin might have been hi own pnrtlcular Idea of the character of which he is a co-author. Clare Armstrong as Eleanor Downs, tho girl front Kentucky, was good. Hot4 work would hvo been more appreciated ap-preciated had she eliminated the dialect. dia-lect. Bliss Milford, as the banker's dn.ightor. was charming. She did not lave much lo do but she was charming charm-ing and delightful and the typical girl In what she did do The supporting company was weak. Tho scenic effects were good.
