Show WEBER PIONEER WHO MS ANSWERED MIL John Slaker, one of the orglnUI pioneers of Weber county, 'who ho been a resident of this section sIdcc 1852. when he emigrated hero with the Mormon emigrants from Canada, died yesterday afternoon at the home of his son, William E. Staker, in Eat Weber, at 5:23 o'clock from paralyslj. Mr. Staker was born near Toronto, Canada, on November 5, 1S27, and bo-came bo-came a member of the Latter Day Saints church early In life. Ho Is well and prominently known throughout all parts of Weber county, especially in West Weber. He Is survived by the j following children: William E, Staker, Cbauncey Staker, Charles Staker, all of West Weber, and Mrs. Rebecca Howell of Boise, Idaho, besides 24 grundchlldron and 23 great grandchildren. grand-children.
