Show LABOR LEADER IS TO - OCCUPY A PULPIT In spite of its marvelous strides forward, for-ward, the American Federation of Labor La-bor is still misundei stood in many oncrters. To help toward a better understanding, un-derstanding, the pulpit of the Congregational Congre-gational church will be thrown open i r.c-xt Sunday evening to a leading Uiah union man. H. W. Dennett, ex-cryanlzor ex-cryanlzor of tho International Typo- graphical union, will speak upon "Trades Unionism Ethics. Morals. Practice." He speaks out of an experience ex-perience of 25 years. Tie knows the w eaknesses of the union cause and he knows its strong points. He will have something to say to all who think tho union exists only to raise t lie wage-tcale wage-tcale and to shorten the hours, of toll. The groat humanitarian ideals of the Federation aro too often lost sight of. The unions of the city are planning a generous outpouring. The service will be brief and simple. |
