Lang, of the office of silver-culture, district dis-trict Forest Service, has left for Pocatello Po-catello to conduct a preliminary examination exam-ination of the Topaz range of mountains moun-tains lying between the Pocatello and Cache national forests. Expert Lang's report on the matter will determine largely whether the range shall be reserved re-served for forest purposes. Extensive petitions have been received from people peo-ple residing along the base of these mountains, asking that the section referred re-ferred to be Included within one forest for-est or the other adjoining and governed gov-erned accordingly.
