ATHLETICS AT COLUMBIA IN CHARGE OF CENTRAL BOARD New York, March 15. Athletics at Columbia university will probably be placed In charge of a central board of control having a general treasury, although al-though tho existing athletic associations, associa-tions, such as cricket, baseball, etc. will be continued. A plan for the formation for-mation of a general athletic association associa-tion has already boen arranged by tho board of student representatives, and-has and-has the indorsement of tho undergraduate under-graduate body. The committee which will have control con-trol of the now association will be composed of the man ago rs of the teams, two graduate directors, the Bur sar of the university and he chairman of the student board.
