Show Mozart's Feat of Memory. In 1770, when Mozart was only 14 years of age, he went on a tour through Italy. In Easter week he was In Rome, and went to the Slstlne Chapel to hear the wonderful Eastor music. This included the celebrated and beautiful Miserere of Gregorlo Al-lcgrl, Al-lcgrl, a piece which was not allowed to be transcribed for use outside of the Vatican. After one hearing Mozart Mo-zart went home and made an almost exact copy of the piece rom memory, making only one or two corrections after a second visit.
