Hise, Utah commissioner of the United States emigration bureau, yesterday visited Ogden in the Interests of Lul-gi Lul-gi Del Carli, the Italian who Is charged with insanity and who is supposed sup-posed to be a subject for deportation. Assisted by Vice-Consul J. Frazzlni, Mr. Hise examined the subject and upon leaving the city stated that the matter would be brought before the department de-partment at the earliest possible date. It is expected that tho man will bo deported. It Is announced by officials of the road who have spent the last three days investigating the proposed route that the Union Pacific railroad will extend Its tracks thirty-five miles westward from Greeley to a point eight miles east of Pierce. The proposed line will tap the new Greeley-Poudre irrigation irri-gation district which has opened 150.-000 150.-000 acres of arable lauds. The officials offi-cials announce that work on the new line will begin within three weeks and that a thousand men will be put to work -on the grading. Seven stations will be established along the extension exten-sion which will cost $250,000.
