Show WILLARD BRIEFS. Willard, April 3. Funeral services over the remains of Mr. John Barker were held yesterday afternoon. Many relative and friends gathered to pay tbelr last tributes to the deceased. Clarence Stauffer was Injured yesterday yes-terday by a freight train on the Oregon Ore-gon Short Line. Mr. Stauffer was 1 caught between the cars and had his foot badly mangled. John Hubbard, who has been attending at-tending school In Logan, has returned home. Bert Nicholas of Promontory Is visiting vis-iting relatives here. William E. Cole has gone to Idaho to spend a few weeks with relatives. Isaac Finn has returned home from Promontory. A force of men is at work wiring the town for electric lights. A farewell party was given in honor hon-or of Henry W. Bragger, who leaves on a mission to Germany next month. |
