Show man. W. S. Shing, who is suspected of having tried to commit suicide on Saturday night, Is in the insane ward of the county jail. He was taken hither on Sunday night, after he had grown so violent at St- Mark's hospital hos-pital that it was necessary to lock him up. ' Shing's mind gave way almost in an instant after he was taken from the city prison to the hospital. Apparently Ap-parently In only a highly nervous state when he was released from the city prison, he suddenly became a raving maniac soon after he was admitted ad-mitted to the hospital. He called out ' that his inamorata was In the next room and that she must be allowed to go to him. When she did hot make her appearance he threatened ' to become be-come violent. It was then that the police were appealed r to a second time to take him in charge. They took tho crazed Chinaman to the coun-tv coun-tv jail In the patrol wagon. I " From what Shing told Dr. S. G.
