REMOVES SECRETARY tOCATELLO, Idaho Sept. 2 Boar.l of directors of the Poc&tello chamber of commerce have decided to dispense with the sorvlces of the secretary sec-retary owing to llnanclal condition ot the irRtinlzation. President F. C McGowan called attention at-tention of the directors to the present pres-ent financial condition of the chamber cham-ber and stated that a policy of retrenchment re-trenchment was necessary, stressing the fact that, tns organisation was ai-ready ai-ready Indebted la the secretary and his assistant for ft sum In excels of $500. To accomplish tne retrenchment, ho auKgested the resignation at tne secretary, secre-tary, to become effective September 1 Upon being moved and seconded by thn directors, It was decided to accept the resignation of the secretary. S. B.I Anderson, and a committee of three was appointed to make arrangements by which the hoard of directors could give a note for the amount due to the secretary nd hN 'isslstant. It was also moved that the president presi-dent of the chamber confer with the secretary of th" Idaho Reclamation association regarding the combining of the two offices, with a view to reducing re-ducing the overhead expenses of botb organizations. |
