Teal is beached on a small gravel bar near , Lewiston. i Since the burning of the two old boats of the company, tho Lewiston and the Spokane, last summer, tne Teal has been transferring wheat from the warehouses at Asotin and upper rivr points to the railroad at Lewis-ton. Lewis-ton. The boat was weakened by the long run up the river from Portland and on the hist return trip from 1 Asotin opened seams In the forward r compartments and developed a de-I de-I elded list. There arc CO, 000 sacks of grain piled at Asotin for this service and the total at all river points served by this transportation trans-portation along tho river will run to more than -lO.uOo sacks.
