Q Wattle, nf isdcn president of the I'tah Federation of Women's clubs, In her annual address at the opening session of tho convention of tho federation fed-eration yesterday afternoon made a plea for Increased patriotism, loyalty to the nntlon nnd the use of every means to build for a greater America. Love and sympathy are needs of every human heart, and to receive them we' must give them. From the officers and the chairmen of departments your president has had the closest co-operatieh, which was .much needed and duly appreciated, and for which she tenders you her sincei o thanks. "Let your watchword be loyalty to purpose, the uniting of interests and influence of Utah women for the bet-t bet-t rment of mankind. No federation stands still. We must either advance or recede.
