Va., Oct. 21 A jury in United States district court here BH Friday, returned a verdict of $113,676 H agalnut the Plggly Wlggly Stares, lm defendant in a breach of contract suit in 9 bich the Franklin Sugar Refining company, a Pennsylvania corporation (he plaintiff. The suit involved the sale of approximately approx-imately 2000 barrels of sugar, which the plaintiff claimed the defendant contra '1 to boy in the summer oi 1920 at 22 cents per pound. The' refining company alleged that the sugar sug-ar was delivered at Philadelphia, in accordance with the contract, but ac--ceptance of the consignment was refused re-fused by the Piggly Wlggly stores.
