Show 'engineer testifies IN EGELHOFF suit H. J. Craven, civil engineer of ' g- den. was a witness today In the ease of Pearl Wright Egelhoff against Ogdon Og-don City in Judge James N. Kimball's Kim-ball's division of the district court. The woman Is suing the city for dam-; dam-; ages of approximately $600 for the ! r.lleged damage to her summer home in ugden canyon as tho result of 1 llandsllde during April, 1921. It is j claimed by the plaintiff that water I .seeped from tho city water-pipe line I und caused tho slide. Mr Craven testified that he went to the scene of the slide a few hours I after It occurred and found the waiters wa-iters of the river Impounded by the slide entering the houses on the north side of tho canyon. He also said thai earth had banked against tho honi' -and In some instances had entered the basements. A largo tree had also been torn from tho ground, ho testified The case, whlcn Is being heard before be-fore a Jury, will probably be completed com-pleted late tomorrow. |
