This is covered and allowed al-lowed to stand In a cool place for two days. The berries are mashed, the vinegar strained through cheesecloth cheese-cloth and poured o er two quarts of fresh raspberries and let stand for another two days; it is strained and put in a preserving-kettle with sugar, allowing a pound of sugar to a pint f juice. It is heated slowly, and skirafmed when ihe vinegar begins to boil. It should be boiled 20 minutes and put In sterilized bottle. VVhenJ served as a drink, two tablespoons arc added to a gia- ! water or uf cracked ice.
