Two of these perfect games aro within the memory of the present generation of diamond followers Cy ' Voung. tho famous Boston "iron man" pitched one against Philadelphia, m-in 6, 1904. and Addle Joss, hurling for Cleveland, turned the trick against I Chicago, October 1. 1908. The other three perfect games are In the lore of tho ancient days. They were accomplished by G. W Bradley, of St. Ixuls, July 16, 1876; I L. Richmond, of Worcester. Mass., June 12. 1 880. and five days later, June 1, 1880, by J M. Ward of Rrov-Idence, Rrov-Idence, r. i Ty Cobb's Detroit Tigers were Rob-ertson'S Rob-ertson'S victims.
