The number of rail travelers that entered the park gateway at West Yellowstone, the entrance from Ogden. during the golden anniversary attendance attend-ance was larger than those going through both the Gardner and Cody entrances combined, according to an announcement by the park officials. There were 63S0 more persons entered the park this year up to July 15 than had entered during tho same period last year. The rail travel through the northern or Gnrdner entance is given as 1927. and that though Cody as 1117 The number entering through the entrance rpached from Ogden Is shown as 3036 or two more than the total rail travel through both of the others. The total number of travelers who have entered the park by both rail and motor was 29.759 on July 15, as against 28,879 at the same time in 1921. the highest prcius figure l'ark officials expect well over 100,000 to view the wonderland during its fiftieth fifti-eth birthday season. The Yellowstone park record for a single day's rail arrivals Is expected to be broken by the Union Pacific on Sundny.
