Show MODERN FEATURES AT PIONEER BALL The ninth annual ball of the Daughters Daugh-ters of the Pioneers will be given Monday evening. February 13. In the Berthana. Preparations have been going on for a number of weeks and the ball this year hits every promise I b ing one of the most entertaining of all! The program ontuins modern dancing danc-ing for the most part. There will be old-fashioned dancing, or the usual pioneer program. Miss Veda Bcclea Wright and Miss Bertha und Miss Louis Eccles will fuvor with a number of solo dances In costume. Dainty refreshments will be served. . Mr.s. J. E. Mrs. George A Checketts was hostessl to the members of her five hundred j club Thursday afternoon at her home on Twentieth street. Valentine decorations dec-orations were used about tho rooms. Following cards a luncheon was served, serv-ed, in addition to the club members, presenl were Mra Frank J. Bartonefc, Ifrs, Bar! Bhipley and Mra C L. Rose. |
