Show IRISH ARE UNITING. Most surprising is the announcement announce-ment that Mie'nuel Collins, representing represent-ing the south oi Ireland, and Sir James Craig from Ulster, have reached an agreement concerning the boundary lin which will separate the north and south, and have reconciled all dii ferences. One of the big problems of Irish 6elf control was to determine the relation of the north and south of Ireland and I Ind a was 'Ol the people of conflicting views on government and religion to (live at peace as neighbors. Evidently I the two forces have discovered common com-mon grounds and, recognizing mutual dependence, have forgotten much of ;he antagonism of ;he past. If the Irish work out of their difficulties diffi-culties and finally demonstrate their ability to advance under self-govern ment. a Strong argument will be sup- plied other struggling nationalists in i support of their right ro do for them 1 selves. Thus we see the .spread of the idea of democracy as set forth in the decla ration of independence which made 'America an enduring nation. |
