Show NEW GOVERNOR 1 On Monday, Charles R. Mabey was BBBB: sworn In aa governor of Utah. Tres BBH enl at the ceremony was Joseph T. - Mabey, lather of the governor, and four brothers. This was a happy event for the family of Mabey, and. as noted by the retiring governor. It was the first time in the history of Utah when B father had the privilege of witnessing witness-ing the Inauguration of his son. The fondest hopes of a father have been realized. The boy of yesterday Is tho governor of today. From a modest home, the people have drawn a young man to perve them in the highest high-est position attainable within the state. Mabey, wo are told, was an obedient eon. As a young man he was studious, ambitious and clean of thought. He oarly developed ability as a public speaker and. long before he was spoken of for governor, he was attracting attention of those In Og-llen Og-llen and elsewhere who heard his public pub-lic addresses.
