This court should become a part ol our machinery of Justice, if the object is to me i i lie demands of an outraged out-raged public. Too often. A b indlta' court would do away with lynchlngs, as tho callinp of a mur derer to tho bar of Justice within twenty-four hours of his crime, would 'quiet those who might demand quick Ad drastic action. Had California a bandits' court .when the San Francisco gangsters ishot the oftrccrs who attempted to ar-1 rest them, the triple lynching would 'not hiivt occurred. |
