Show SALT LAKE BONDS HIVE SEEN SOLO SALT LAKE, April 1 At a premium of $10,665. plus accrued interest between be-tween dales of issue and delivery. $750,000 worth of 5 per cent serial bonds half of Salt Lake county's authorized au-thorized issue of $1,500,000 worth of road improvement bonds were sold yesterday by the board of county commissioners. com-missioners. Three firms were the joint purchasers. purchas-ers. They were Bosworth-Chanute & Co.. Denver. McCoy A Co.. Chicago, and Taylor, Ewart & Co.. Chicago. Six bids were before the board. The next highest bid was at a premium of $9525, being" the joint bid of Sidlo-Simons, Sidlo-Simons, Fels Co., Denver, and Harris Trust & Savings bank. Chicago. The bids were oponed at the morn ing meeting of the board and turned over to the county clerk for tabulation, tabula-tion, the sale being made yesterday afternoon when the board determined fiom the tabulation that of several propositions made that offered on the 5 per cent serial bonds was most advantageous ad-vantageous to the count The sale con-1 tract provides that any money left! with the purchasers of the bonds at any time shall bear 5 per cent interest I t the county. |
