JOPL1N, Mo, April 23- The Democratic Demo-cratic stato convention in sesion here -.this morning votrl to reject Ihc selection selec-tion of United States Senator James A. Reed as district delegate to the na tlonal convention at San Francisco and to return hiB name to the fifth i district caucus which nominated kirn. The voto was 1,070 to 4S0, four not 'voting. It came as tho climax to an all night session of tho convention In which wrangling - and filibustering played a prominent part. Spirited debate preceded tho roll call. The fifth district (Kansas and Jackson Jack-son county) and tho St Louis delegation delega-tion with tho excopilon of two wards, cast their ballots against the measure.
