Show SE M PRE MUSICAL SOCIETY HOLDS MEETING. Mrs. Lucian A. Ray was hostess to ;th.- members of the Sempre Musical society at her home on Adams avenue last Tuesday afternoon and following a very fine program of musical numbers num-bers and readings, the club held its annual an-nual election of officers. The program consisted of a well written paper on "English Music of the Twentieth Century" Cen-tury" by Mrs. Fred N. Hess, followed by vocal and instrumental selections by Miss Ellen Thomas and Mrs. Vera Frey Beason. A general discussion of the subject for the afternoon was held and Mrs. Ray served a refreshing luncheon. The club' new officer? an Miss Ellen Thomas, presided Mr I A. Ferraro, vice president, and Miss Dorothy Wright secretary. On Tuesday next the club will hold its annual musical day at the Uerthiin.t to which guests have been Invited |
