After short deliberation, the Jury in the Clough case released the boy. who was charged with the slaying of his father, from custody When the verdict was announced, there was applause in the court house. We trust that the little fellow has had no misunderstanding as to the meaning mean-ing of the verdict or the rejoicing. The boy has not become a hero. Rather, he remains a poor, unfortunate child, with a heavy weight resting upon him. He came Into life handicapped anil, as a result, has before him the mental picture of his father's death.
