Show Industrial Unrest Not Cored by Laws NEW YORK, Feb. 13 Industrial unrest un-rest cannot be cured bv legislation-in the opinion of United Stptes Senator J. W. Wadsworth, who declared in an address at the Lincoln day luncheon i of the Women's Republican club, that there arc too manj laws, about 60.000 ' being now on the statute books. Men'sl live in Industry and elsewhere cannot! be governed by legislation, he asserted' and they cannot be made to do the things they don not want to do. "You can't drive them; you must teach them," he added. "You must have closer human contact. It will do more to rectify unrest than the passage pas-sage of laws." oo |
