' Oh, it's like the break of morning, and there's someone that you know j Passes down the streot and halls you, ' and you shout a glad "Hello!" Or iL's like the friendly greeting that j you give to peo'ple when . They've been away for weeks and just got home again; Or at least that's how I view it, for itl ; really seems to mo - - That I've got to give a welcome to every bud I see. j I go into the garden and I watch each plant and vine 1 j Fo. the signs of their awakening, for they're all good friends of mine. ' And I bend above the roses, and I i greet them with a shout Of delight there's no mistaking wnen II ' find them budding out; i Oh. I'm mighty glad to see them, and j I want to let them know, j And I think they understand it when ' j they hear me call "hello!" ' ( |
