Show ' Society 7 t "CHILDREN'S aid society. The Children's Aid society is to meet at the dispensary rooms tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. All members are expected to be present. RECEIVE HONORS. Two pupils of the Dee school sixth grade, Wanda Cottle and Elmer Mil-ier, Mil-ier, have been awarded the Palmer gold button for excellent penmanship in the 100th drill. The girls had made a record of perfect in each one of the drills. HISTORICAL SOCIETY. The Historical society will meet Saturday afternoon, March 4, at 2:30 at the Knights of Pythias hall, 2351 Grant avenue, with Mrs. V. C. Gunnell and Miss Ethel Howie as hostesses. The program will be In charge of Mrs. George II. Matson as chairman, the subject being the "Poetry and Drama i of Ireland." This will be an open meeting and members are privileged to bring guests.
