Show Caught by Police I In a Cafe in I Salt Lake City H !! SALT LAKE, June 26 R E. Neale, 23 years of age, and Arthur Denistin. 22 years of age, were arrested early this morning by Detectives B. H. Sea- M I ger and C. A. Williams, after they had t I entered Young's cafe, 127 South Main I street. The safe, it is said, contained i I more than $500 I The men are said to have entered I the building from the root through the I skylight. Through knowledge gained I by Neale. who worked in the cafe the I past week, they are said to have been; I attempting to open the safe by work- I ing the combination. I When startled by Detective Seagor, I who entered through the front door, I Neale ran to the rear, and, leaping I through a window, landed in the arms I of Detertne Williams. I Denistin, when covered by the revol- I ver of Detective Seager, submitted to I arrest. The prisoners were taken to I the city jail I Neale said he was an honorably dis- I charged soldier. According to the po- I lice, he admitted being in the cafo I Tuesday night, when he is said to have I taken a few cigars and cigarets. He I said, the police assert, that he was I alone on his first visit I Denistin. when arrested, was wear- I ing a soldier's uniform and had taken I off his shoes. I |
