The first event of the day will start ill 7 o'clock in the mornins, with a concert by the Southern Pacific band. -Ii inishi he stated that there will be still an earlier event, when ilu " qo! sun brigade" Will salute the dawn and awaken the late sleepers from their -lumbers at 1 30 n. m. To the boys who say active service during 'he late war. the day has a greater sic Iniflcance than any other, and they are making every effort to Imprest those who remained at home with the lull meaninu ol the occasion. The chu t feature of the day will be 1 1 he flag presentation to the city by the American Legion. This event will 'take place at Lester park at 1" a. m Next will be the marathon race from INorih 0?den lo Lorin Farr park. This event will be participated in i Borne lot the best distance runners from the , inter mountain country and will start promptly : 2 o'clock. Afternoon Events During the afternoon the lime will J be divided between the soccer football came, rnnnlng races and the football came between the Utah Aggie fresh-men fresh-men and the team of picked stars fiom the American Legion. These events Will be slaced at Lorin Farr park In the evening will be staged a boxing match at the Armory and the American Legion crand ball at the Bert hana. For this dance several unique features are planned and it promises to be one of the most memorable mem-orable danctnc parties ever held in I the eiti During ihe entire day there will be I band concerts, starting with the early 'morning concert by the Southern Pacific Pa-cific band N'ext will be the Ogden l Municipal band, then the Ogden : Ladies' band and there is a good pos-sibility pos-sibility that the Twenty-first Infantry ' hand from Fort Douglas can be se-I se-I cured.
