Show FEELING AMONG j SOLDIERS HIGH Returned Men Demand All Aliens Be Ousted From Winnipeg Unions. LABOR LEADER INSULTS Soldiers Incensed Over Talk Made by Duncan of Seattle at Mass Meeting. WINNIPEG, Man , .Tune 3 Feeling among returned soldiers opposed to the general strike of Winnipeg and particularly to the participation of alien enemies in strike demonstrations, demonstra-tions, was at fever heat this morning Mayor Charles F Gray was informed that several thousand soldiers intended intend-ed to march to the Trades and Labor Council this forenoon, force entrance if necessary and demand that all aliens be ousted from the Winnipeg unions. "I understand the soldiers are so incensed over the high handed meth ;ods of strike leaders and insulting remarks re-marks made by Tames Duncan, the Seattle labor leader, yesterday, that I they have threatened to wreck the La- I bor Temple and 'make an example' of the leaders." said Mayor Gray. Mayor Gray said that milk stations would be opened in all public school buildings and that "adequate protection protec-tion would be furnished " Rumors were current on the streets and in local newspaper offices this forenoon that the central strike committee com-mittee was considering the advisability advisa-bility ot calling off the systematic Utrike, in view of the impending action j by war veterans.
