Show MRS SARAH SMI DIESMWSIS Mrs. Sarah Smout. wife of William Smout, died yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, following an attack of paralysis which occurred several months ago and from which the de- 1 . ,i: n. r recovered. Th. d. mix-occurred mix-occurred at her home in Slaterville. She was 70 years old, naving been born at Lesbnry, Northumberl.tnd, England. June 21, l.Sty. She was the daughter of James ami Alice Young Moore. As a girl Mrn Smout became affiliated affili-ated with the L. D. S. church and came to Weber county in 1862. Her husband hus-band and seven children survive, the Children boing: William E. Smout, Burley, Idaho; Wlnslow T. Smout Butte, Mont.; James M. Smout, Brig-bam, Brig-bam, Mrs. Sadie Fisher, Burley. Ida ho; John Smout. Slaterville, Mrs. Nora Hunter. Slaterville, and Mrs Ella Allred, Slaterville There are also twenty-eight grandchildren ana three rreat grandchildren. The bodv was taken to Larkin & Sons' establishment Funeral services will be held in the Slaterville meeting house Sunday at 2 o'clock. Bishop Slater officiating. The body will lie in state at the resi-d.-nro at Slaterville Saturday evening and Sunday until 1 p. m. Floral offerings offer-ings may ho lefr at the Larkin chapel until 12 m Sun.1. |
