Bulletins from the White House, as to the condition of President Woodrow Wilson, are not encouraging. a What has been made public indicates that the President is seriously ill, having suffered a nervous collapse. This is the price the President has paid for his intense devotion lo the duties of his office since the first day that he stepped in to the White House. During his attendance on the Versailles conference, and prior to that time, while the war was on with all its tremendous uncertainties, die President was keyed up to the highest possible pitch and the wonder won-der is that he did not break down earlier. Woodrow Wilson is a man of keen mentality and men of thai make up are liable to nervous upset, if they neglect the physical side of life. Nature demands muscular activity and any one who tails to I exercise the voluntary muscles, which in turn help the inner organs to function, eventually will find himself 'suffering of a lowered vitality, sluggish life stream and mental depression. Thousands of office men, particularly business men. are afflicted with this abnormal condition con-dition of body and mind and they go through what is known as a nervous collapse. The one way out is to go back to the pnmary law of right living physical exercise, fresh air, wholesome diet, regular rest, mind control in the re-establishment of confidence. |
