Z Dr. Fran-! cis X- Dercum of this city, noted neu-1 rologist, who examined President Wil-1 son, as a consulting physician, said today that "the president's condition ! is grave but that he is of a cheerful frame of mind." After spending an hour and a half; at the president's bedside, Dr. Dercum Der-cum returned home at midnight. "We merely confirmed Dr Grayson's dlag-1 nosis, made prcUoush, and found the president vcr much in need of rest. He is very cheerful and takes an interest in-terest in what is going on. This is an encouraging indication.'' Mr, Wilson, according to Dr. Der-1 Der-1 cum, realizes that he is a sick man and is making an effort to cease chaf-1 chaf-1 Ing under the restraint which coin-1 coin-1 pels him to relinquish temporarih the ; hold of the administration. Dr. Dercum said he would not re-j turn to Washington unless summoned. Dr. Grayson talked with Dr F. Dr. Dercum will come ' to Washington from time to time as Dr. !
