Show SEKiii Brave Troops Conquer Enemy En-emy Stubborn Resistance and Hold Positions. ROME, July 1. Italian war statement state-ment says: "On tho Aslago plateau our troops yesterday opened action again. Formidable For-midable Col Del Rosso was carried, with spirit. Col di Chelo was tho theater of a bitter struggle through out tho whole day. 'In the end the bravery of our trobps conquered the enemy's stubborn stub-born resistance and tho contested po sitions remained in our hands. "About midday and in the afternoon the enemy launched two heavy at tacks against Monte di Val Bella, but the enomy masses, mown down by our artillery Are, were competely arrested arrest-ed by our infantry and forced to retire. "Our airplanes daringly participated participat-ed in all phases of the fighting. "Tho losses suffered by the enomy on Saturday and Sunday are ascertained ascer-tained to have been exceptionally heavy. Eighty-five offlcsrs and 1935 men were made prisoner. Our losses, thanks to the decisiveness of the attack at-tack and excellent co-operation of the artillery, were very slight. "On the remainder of the front tho fighting activity yesterday was normal, nor-mal, in the Daonc valley and in the region of Giudlcaria we surprised small enemy posts, securing a few prisoners and machine guns. In the Mcugna region an enemy attack was repulsed." Vienna War Statement. VIENNA, via London, July 1. The Vienna statement says: "Southeast of Aslago violent fighting fight-ing has again developed.
