TEMPLE GROUNDS' i SALT LAKE, Dec. 27 Leaving a note giving directions for tho distribution distri-bution of his effects and expressing the belief that ho was useloss in this world, Robert A. Brown, 30 years of age, a member 6f tho United States overseas aviation service, committed suicide yesterday near the temple in the tabernacle block by shoptlng himself him-self through tho head with a .38-cali-bro army revolver. According to II. B. Parrish of Cen-.terville, Cen-.terville, who witnessed the deed, Brown was seated on a bench near the temple reading the note he had written. writ-ten. Suddenly ho put the paper in his pocket and drawing his revolver fired a bullet into his right eye. Tho police po-lice wero summoned and found the ' note in his pocket, stating that his parents resided in Oshkosh, Wis., and that he had an account with the Tracy Loan & Trust company of this city and with the Great Falls, Mont., National bank. He requested that the missive he had written be not published and , bade farewell to his father, mother, ; brothers and sisters, and expressed the ' hope that he would now find eternal ' jest. l The body was removed to the O'- ' Donnoll undertaking parlors and a message sent to relatives in Wiscon- 1 sin. i |
