Show I- :DRAFT REGISTRANTS i GIVEN CAUTIONING 1 A bulletin has Ifecn issued by Gov ernor Bamberger warning draft registrants regis-trants that they must give specific information in-formation concerning their occupational occupa-tional qualifications when filling out questionnaires. The bulletin follows: i "To local and district boards.' The provost marshal general directs the I following: "It is of, paramount importance to the selective service features of the draft and to the effective erap'oy-ment erap'oy-ment of the manpower of the army that the occupational qualifications of every registrant be sot forth with pre cision in his questionnaire. Therefore the registrant's answers to series 3, question 3, page 4, must without fail specify his particular job within his industry, by answering, for example not merely railroad man, but traclf layer or trainman or car shop repairer repair-er Assistants should be instructed to secure for that question an answer as spocific as if made to questions -1, 0 and 10, in series 11, page 12. unless registrant has already fully answered those questions. If questionnaires filed fil-ed are not specific enough boards should secure adequate answers under section 100, paragraph 3, before proceeding pro-ceeding to classify. |
