Show Mil HS AltBON, Oct. 22 The little baby of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Young died Saturday Sat-urday morning at a Pocatello hospital of Influenza. , Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Knowles and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Roderick returned homo Friday from Pocatello, where they were called by the serious illness and death of their father Charles My-ler. My-ler. Spencer Baird of American Falls was in Arbon Monday to attend a meeting of the road commissioners. Mr. Wm. Allard and family and Miss Opal Newport went to Pocatello Thursday on a business and pleasure trip. Miss Margaret Allard remained in the city a few days as the geust of Thelma Rust. Mr. John Bowen received word last week that his son David was quite ill of influenza but latest reports are that he is rapidly improving. Mr. Edward P. Snyder went to Ma-lad Ma-lad Saturday to'vltit with relatives for a few days. Mr. Melvin Prico was in Pocatello Friday on business. Central school which opened hero two weeks ago, Mr. Perry H. Howell, teacher, closed Oct. 21 as a preventative preven-tative to the spread of Spanish Influenza. In-fluenza. Jacobsen of Salt Lake City " was In Arbon last week 6n business. Hugh Abter and Leslie Evans spent several days last week in Blackfoot, Idaho. Mr. Dave Roderick returned Thursday Thurs-day from Cache valley where he recently re-cently purchased a fine irrigated farm . and will move his family to their new I location in a few days. Mr. Roderick is one of the pioneers of Arbon. Charles C. Myler, a pioneer resIdenA of Arbon, died Wednesday morning in a Pocatello hospital of influenza. Mi. Myler was 57 years old and was well known and liked by all who knew him, and is survived by five daughters, one son, three brothers and a sister. The daughters aro Mrs. J. (I. Hardy of Idaho Ida-ho Falls r Mrs. James E. Ray of Pocatello; Poca-tello; Mrs. Wm. P. Roderick of Pauline; Pau-line; Mrs. C. W: Ivnowlesof Pauline; Miss Flnctta Myler, and a son Frank Myler of Pocatello. His sister, Mrs. H. M. Harmon, resides re-sides at Idaho Falls and his brothers are Oscar Myler, of Rigby; Orson My-lyr My-lyr of Logan, Utah; and Joseph Myler of Clarkston, Utah. The remains were shipped to Riverside, Idaho for interment in-terment in the family plot Mr. Wm. Kramer went to Pocatello Thursday to attend to matters of business. bus-iness. oo |
