Show Iwar mwm Tho minor casualties which are reported re-ported in the two sections of this casualty cas-ualty list were reported to the War Department at Washington by courier, in compliance with the order of the War Department that all casualties, -both major and minor, be reported and published. Heretofore only tho major casualties i were reported, these being received daily by cable. 1 If comment is made on the increased size of the casualty lists the public should be made to understand that the , increase does not reflect current losses, loss-es, but rather that tho increase, insofar n.q minor casualties are concerned, is Ii due to tho recently adopted policy of Issuing the accumulated lists if minor casualties now being reported by courier.
