Show UTIH CEREAL PLANT TO BE PURCHASED BY AIDERS BROS. Transfer of the controlling interest in the Utah Cereal Food plant in Ogden Og-den to Albers Brothers, of the Albers Brothers Milling company, will bo made at a meeting of the stockholders j of the company to be held Wednesday, according to announcement of officers of ihe concern. The transfer will be one of the biggest big-gest deals of the year, it is expected, and will entail a consideration of approximately ap-proximately $350,000. The stock to be sold is held by Oden, Salt Lake and Logan people The stock transfer was made through Lucian A. Ray of Ray & Whitney, acting for Albers Brothers Mr. Ray left Saturday for San Francisco Fran-cisco to confer with representatives of the big Pacific coast milling concern. The Albers Brothers Milling company com-pany is one of the largest in the United Unit-ed States It has a number of plants on the Pacific coast and its products are distributed extensively throughout the country'. The LHah Cereal Food company's big factory' was established at Twenty-ninth street and Pacific avenue, more than a year ago, and has been operating steadily since, manufacturing manufactur-ing wheat and oats products. The officers of the company are M. S. Browning, president; W H. WatUs and J. H. Hendriekson, vice-presidents; W. H. Petty, secretary, A. T. Wright, treasurer and Lucian A. Ray, manager. nr |
