Show GIRLING STOPPED IT THE WON RESORT At a session of the juvenile court, held Friday at Farmlngton, three owners own-ers of concessions at the Lagoon resort re-sort promised to obey the laws concerning con-cerning gambling hereafter and the charges against them )L running gambling gam-bling games in which minors indulged were dismissed. A conference was held between Davis Da-vis county officers and Judge Joshua Homer of the juvenile court. The three defendants, A. H. DeWit, Louis DcWit and H. Shafer were summoned to tho meeting of officials and gave their promises that they would not permit any forms of gambling devices used at their 'concessions. It was agreed by the Davis county officers, Sherirf Charles Nolder, Attorney Attor-ney Lyman Layton and Probation Officer Of-ficer W. F. Barkdull, that a strict watch shall be kept in the future for all violations of the gambling laws by owners of concessions that are patronized patron-ized by minors. , |
