Show BIG CROP OF BEANS, BEETS AND PEANUTS WASHINGTON, July 19. Tho largest larg-est crops of beans, sugar beets and peanuts ever grown in the United States are in prospect for this year's harvest. Department of agriculture production forecasts today show an increase over last year of 19,500,000 bushels in the peanut crop, with a total to-tal of 79,70-1,000 bushels: an increase of almost 5,000.000 bushels In the crop, with a total of 79.791,000 bushels and an Increase of 267,000 tons in the sugar su-gar beet crops, with a total of 6,217,-000 6,217,-000 tons. The hop crop promises 32,43-1,000 pounds, an increase of almost 5,00,000 pounds over last year; broom corn, 70,500 tons, an Increase of S.500 tons; kafirs etc., 110,005,000 bushels, an increase in-crease of 2-1,000,000 bushels and sorghum sorg-hum (syrup) 33,817,000 gallons, a slight decrease. |
