Show oo Deaths and Funerals WREN Joseph R. Wren, who Was buried Wednesday in the Mountain View cemetery following services In tho Kirkendall chapel, was a widely known stockman of Utah and had figured fig-ured In the livestock business for a number of years. Mr. Wren died of cerebral hemmor-hage hemmor-hage very suddenly on December 6, in a Salt Lake hotel. He was sitting in the hotel parlors with some friends when ho complained of a pain in his head. A doctor was called and applied cold towels which relieved the pain. Ho went to bed a short time after but died suddenly while in bed. Mr. Wren was born in Amory, Mississippi, August Aug-ust 28, 1869. Ho took up salesmanship as a young man and went over quite a large part of the country. He met his wife, Emma Lenoro Eliason at Moroni, San Pete county, and was married on July 16, 1897. He later worked Into the stock business and made a considerable con-siderable success of this business leaving leav-ing his wife and children well provided provid-ed for. Two carloads of thoroughbred shoep were waiting him in tho local yards at tho time of his death. GRIFFIN The funeral of Mrs. Mary Griffin will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Fourth Ward meeting meet-ing house with Bishop E. A. Olsen officiating. of-ficiating. The body will lie in state at the homo on the corner of Madison avenue and Twentieth Street Saturdav from 3 to 9 p. m, and Sunday until 1:30 p. ra. Interment will be in the Ogden city cemetery. Automobile cortege. STOUT Tho funeral of Allen' J. tSout was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Thirteenth ward meeting meet-ing house. Bishop J. Howard Jenkins officiated. The body was shipped to Burley, Idaho, after the service, where another service will bo held Sundav, and the interment will be made. HARBERTSON The funeral of Mrs, Sarah J. Harbertson, wife of John W. Harbertson, Jr., was hold this afternoon after-noon at 2 o'clock in the Fourth word chapel. Interment was in the Ogden city cemetery- |
