Show POWERS APPEftRS II COURT WITHOUT lEOfflO Edward Powers, alias Edward Benson, Ben-son, was arraigned- In Judge Agee's :ourt this morning to hear the reading )f an information against him charg-ng charg-ng assault with a deadly weapon with ntent to do great bodily harm. He ,vas not represented by counsel and expressed no desire to have an attor-icy attor-icy appointed. Ho was ordered to appear ap-pear Tuesday morning to enter his plea to the charge. Powers, it Is charged, was commis sioned by Miko Sullivan for $50 and a year's board to "beat up" Sullivan's wife. Ho made a mistake and con-Qnod con-Qnod bis operations to Mrs. Gertrude Braby. The assault occurred on De-combor De-combor 12. Powers and Sullivan were arrested by Detectivo Bob Chambers and Sergeant Jerry Kolllher.
