Show RAILROADS URGE ILL TO BUY TIE THUD LIBERTY BONDS The Southern Pacific Railroad company has notified the local Officials fo push the third Liberty loan with Igor and has asked all employes to come spontaneously to the aid of the government by purchasing bonds of thlfi Issue to the limit or their purses. The company also offers to assist materially In the work by making it possible for the employes to purchase the bonds, as It did in the two previous prev-ious campaigns, on the installment plan. Any employe ina subscribe for as many of the bonds as he desires and the company will help him pay for them in ten monlhh installments. In the Case of those who have not yet finished paying for the bonds of the last Issue the company will allow new bonds to be purchased and will carry the employe until he has completed his first i.scue payments, then ihr deductions de-ductions for Ihe third issue will be made. The company charges Its employes no interest for this service and urges upon all employee, in the communication communica-tion sent to Superintendent Rowlands, to make the railroad contribution to the national funds as great as it mav be The Southern Pacific was not the only railroad company to take inis step The Union Pacific has made prai Ically th same appeal to its em ployeS, and SO, also has the Oregon Short Line and the other lines running run-ning into Ogden. oo |
